Crosstimbers Motorized ORV Park

This new place to ride was added to our database by Webmaster.

Type of Ride: OffRoad
The Crosstimbers riding area is south of the old Draper Lake ORV area. It offers plenty of red dirt (and lots of slippery mud in the rainy season) on a 1500 acre area criss-crossed by about 50 miles of trails. Most of the single-track trails are marked one-way for safety, and some are designated as motorcycle only.

Most of the trails are hard-pack or sand. There is a small MX practice track and beginner's area. The site also features an impressive parking area that is well designed for loading/unloading. Purchase permits at the Draper Concession located at 8301 SE 104 or call 405/799-0870 for more details. The area is managed by the Crosstimber Riders Association and more information can be found online at the Okie Dirt Rider''s website.

Places 2 Ride TV

"You see things vacationing on a motorcycle in a way that is completely different from any other. In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame."
