I wanted to update everyone on all the new stuff that has been going on here at Places 2 Ride. Most of this stuff happens behind the scenes and isn't visible to the average website user.

Listings on the Blog
You may have noticed a lot of new items showing up here on the blog.

We've recently added a feature to the listings of motorcycling events and places to ride that copies the information here. Each new entry is automatically posted here, on the Places 2 Ride blog, as well as our website. My intent here is to provide greater exposure for your organization's event, which increases the value of our free motorcycle events calendar to the motorcycling community.

So now whenever a new event or place is submitted to our site (and approved) it not only becomes a part of our huge directory- it's also posted here and included in our newsfeeds.

Really Simple What?
I'm a big fan of RSS. But for those of you that don't know your ASP from a hole in the ground, we've now made blog updates available via email.

The service is provided by Feedburner (recently acquired by Google) and sends a simple notice when new content is posted here. It will never be used to send spam and we do not share you address with anyone else. To sign up is a quick and easy two-step that begins like this...
